Problem

Borooa wants to make buying and selling easier, profitable and enjoyable. It is a new model for GCC region and they are looking to find the product market fit.
While developing this business Borooa is looking to improve shopping experience and increase conversion rate and get more visitors

Inside Arab countries, people who create items by hand is increasing while they do not have Etsy in these markets. Borooa is looking to fill this gap of platform for selling and buying handmade items
Hence it is important to build a platform selling and buying handmade items

Many artisans have stopped creating because they are not able to sell hence Borooa will be their platform to sell the items.

It is critical for Borooa to track how the data is flowing, where are they growing and how they will find the product market fit as early stage company, hence it is important for them to understand how the users are behaving, what is working and what is not working

To solve these problems, they turned towards Optiblack to help them streamline everything

Quote from client describing the problem
Our mission solves a livelihood problem for artisans, in the digital age there are artisans who are creators but not able to use tech to sell their products, it is critical for Borooa to help these artisans, hence understanding how much impact we are having and how we are having this impact and from where, this helped us identify that we need a solution to track everything

Solution

Borooa's founder reached out to Optiblack to understand how we can help them solve the problem

Optiblack understood how Borooa can leverage data to drive decisions and started with objective workshop to go deeper into understanding the stakeholder needs and data requirements

Optiblack also had the challenge of language barrier, for this they deployed translators to translate the Arabic language to English to make data easier to digest

Borooa product was made as a marketplace for creators to manage their products and buyers to purchase like an eCom store. All the factors were considered to understand what will impact decisions and a tracking plan was prepared on how events will be triggered, captured, processed and showcased to stakeholders

The platform was intelligently leveraged to build intelligence for the decisions makers at Borooa on how to solve for problems of conversions

Optiblack innovated with the language restriction to overcome the challenges Borooa.

The designing of a tracking plan came with much support from Borooa in helping them understand what will make their lives easier.

Buyer Tracking

Seller Tracking

Special care was taken for every department on how the data will be leveraged and around 300+ data points were captured to make it easier for everyone to take decisions

Optiblack started working with the tech team by helping them with relevant support, guidance and best practice to adopt the data intelligence architecture.
This architecture helps Borooa in understanding their customers better, understanding when are they converting and when are they not

To make easier to understand conversions in eCom store, special pointers that tracks user behaviour were added. This gave borooa an edge in understanding whom to target and how

Optiblack also made product conversion by building product intelligence on what products are being sold and how, this will pave way for future ML based algorithms to understand human behaviour better

Quote from client describing the solution
Borooa is my dream project, Optiblack helped in building the data architecture for buyers and sellers, the artisan market industry in Arabic countries is one of the important trades and well respected, we want to leverage data to drive impactful decisions
