Most of the design work we do at Optiblack ends up inside client products. The screens ship, the product goes live, and the thinking behind it stays in Figma files and project folders. Over the past few months we have been pulling some of that work out and publishing it on Dribbble. This is what we have learned so far.

**Why we started publishing on Dribbble**

Optiblack works across consumer apps, creator platforms, fintech products, AI utilities, dashboards and websites. Much of this work lives inside client projects. After a product ships, the design thinking behind it can stay locked in Figma files, decks or project folders, even when it demonstrates capabilities that would matter to someone discovering Optiblack for the first time.

We started publishing selected work on Dribbble to make that work easier to discover and understand. The goal was never to turn every project into a case study. It was to find the strongest design story inside each one and present it clearly.

**Where the profile stands**

| **Metric** | **Figure** |
| --- | --- |
| Shots published | 19 |
| Highest visible views on a single shot | 9.9K |
| Highest visible likes on a single shot | 10 |
| Product categories covered | 7+ |

**Preparing product screens for Dribbble**

Designing a product and presenting it publicly are different design problems. A screen can work perfectly inside an app and still make a weak Dribbble post. The presentation first needs to catch attention, then make the design easy to understand.

Before exporting any screens, we began asking one question: **what is the one thing this post should communicate?**

For Crowned, that meant separate stories around onboarding, the broader social ecosystem, messaging and reveals, leaderboards, and UGC creator earnings. For CleanPerfect, we separated device management and parental controls from AI Insights and robo-call protection. Amplifier could be presented through campaign discovery, creator analytics and its web experience.

One large product did not need to become one overloaded post. It could become several focused design stories.

**From project to Dribbble**

Over time, we spent more of the process adapting the work for people seeing it for the first time. The path from a shipped project to a published shot now runs in six steps.

1\. **Select** a feature with a clear story.

2\. **Curate** the screens needed to explain it.

3\. **Reframe** it for someone unfamiliar with the product.

4\. **Present** it as a deliberate composition.

5\. **Publish** it with a clear title and context.

6\. **Learn** from how different stories are received.

**What the engagement suggests so far**

Posts have been live for different lengths of time, so their raw view counts are not directly comparable. We are also too early to treat engagement as a controlled experiment. Still, the profile gives us some useful directional signals.

| **Shot** | **Approx. views** | **Likes** |
| --- | --- | --- |
| Crowned interface overview | 9.9K | — |
| Crowned leaderboard composition | 5.8K | 10 |
| CleanPerfect feature presentation | 4.1K | — |
| CrownCam creator earnings | 3.8K | — |

These results do not give us a formula yet. But they reinforce something we had already started noticing: the work needs to catch attention first, communicate the idea quickly, and then offer enough depth to make someone want to explore it further.

*“A polished screen is useful. A polished screen that also communicates an interesting system, interaction or product mechanic is stronger.”*

**Four projects, four presentation challenges**

![](https://optiblack.com/hs-fs/hubfs/image-png-Oct-29-2026-10-12-18-7542-AM.png?width=1400&height=1050&name=image-png-Oct-29-2026-10-12-18-7542-AM.png)

**Crowned** — social recognition and gamification. We split one product into distinct stories: onboarding, anonymous interactions, rankings and creator monetisation.

![](https://optiblack.com/hs-fs/hubfs/image-png-Oct-29-2026-10-12-19-4881-AM.png?width=1400&height=1050&name=image-png-Oct-29-2026-10-12-19-4881-AM.png)

**CleanPerfect** — AI utility and device management. Grouping features made a broad utility product easier to understand without hiding its complexity.

![](https://optiblack.com/hs-fs/hubfs/image-png-Oct-29-2026-10-12-21-9166-AM.png?width=1400&height=1050&name=image-png-Oct-29-2026-10-12-21-9166-AM.png)

**Amplifier** — creator distribution and analytics. We focused on campaign discovery, analytics and creator workflows rather than turning the post into product promotion.

![](https://optiblack.com/hs-fs/hubfs/image-png-Oct-29-2026-10-12-28-1979-AM.png?width=1400&height=1050&name=image-png-Oct-29-2026-10-12-28-1979-AM.png)

**Hangit** — interaction and visual exploration. The product idea was defined; the exploration was in how onboarding, interaction and visual storytelling could create curiosity.

**What we learned**

**Design for the scroll first.** The first visual needs to catch attention before someone decides to explore the work further.

**Make that attention meaningful.** Once the visual catches the eye, the viewer should quickly understand what makes the design or interaction interesting.

**A project can support several posts.** A single screen, feature or interaction can make a strong Dribbble post when it has a clear story of its own.

**Show how the product works.** Flows, marketplaces, rankings, analytics and creator mechanics communicate more product depth than static screens.

**Set aside time to design the presentation.** Making a strong Dribbble shot takes a different kind of thinking from making the product itself.

**Why this matters to Optiblack**

For us, Dribbble currently works best as a visibility, credibility and discovery layer. It turns work that might otherwise remain inside project files into a growing public record of Optiblack's design capability.

Before a meeting or proposal, prospective clients, collaborators and designers can already see the product categories, visual systems and interaction problems we have worked through.

We do not treat every view as a lead or every like as proof of business impact. For now, Dribbble gives people a way to discover work they might otherwise miss.

**The takeaway**

**Don't just archive good work after delivery.** Choose what is worth showing. Curate it for someone seeing the product for the first time. Give it enough context to be understood and enough space to be seen.
